A love poem

Can I rest under this floral sky?
Nestle in and listen to your heart-song’s fluttering?

You do to me what summer does
with buttercups and honeybees.

Like botany
I study you —
your mind is wild
fields and flowers
buzzing like a violin

you make me garden,
dance me golden —
sway me on sonata breeze.

All daisylike and honey-bent
I’m everywhere
you put
your hands
your hands

  1. I love this beautiful poem and I absolutely love your photographs of the wildflowers especially, as those are the best kind.

The ending is gorgeous my friend. Lovely work. 🤗💕❤️Love Joni

Wow!! Lovely lines, Katy. Beautiful sensual poem with a shivery-good ending, too. 💖🙌
