Locked in manic-tower thoughts,
I’ve found a walk beside the ocean,
beach-combing along the sunset’s
water-braid aglow
to be the best of Earth’s solutions
to the bursting of my mind’s latch
opened to a staircase
leading back into my body,
spiraled down into the sand around my feet.
And in breathing in the love of nature
I am rescued
from the tangles in my sanity.

  5. I had a sunset whose hair I braided once,
    letting the colours down on ladders of moonbeam.
    Hoped I could keep it with me,
    hold it with my word gloves when nothing else seemed to hear.

    Beautiful sand patterns and magnificent sunsets. The tide always adds so much to tge spectacle with its rolling dance.

    Excitingly composed, too. Conjures your own enthusiasm in those who choose to dive in.
