Road Crossing Rooster
A lover boy known
for his serenades at dawn
darts across my road
Gelled back James Dean in
amber ebonied feathers
turning heads down streets

OMG!!! I LOVE these. “Paints sugared fondant” … and that James Dean lover-boy, with his lover noises – oh yes!
